Curtain call
My first love was with a boy who I’d fancied at school for ages. He was always the bloke that everyone wanted to get off with. Absolutely stunning. I finally got together with him one Christmas at the school dance, where he was in charge of the PA. That was all controlled backstage behind a curtain. I was sitting on a mixing desk while he went at it fabulously. Unfortunately, my hand hit a control button, the curtain opened and the audience got more than they bargained for.
